The purpose of the rally was to protest what they believe is unfair and biased treatment of organizations such as the Washington State Three Percent by the mainstream mass media.

As seems standard fare at political rallies and protests these days, among the people who counter protested the "Liberty or Death 2" rally held on December 1, 2018 in Seattle by the Washington Three Percent, was a counter protester with an amplified bullhorn. The amplified bullhorn wielding counter protester used it for multiple purposes.
