In this photograph from May 1, 2015 in Seattle, captured near dusk during that year's May Day Anarchist / Block Bloc protest and city street mayhem, a large group of Seattle Police officers formed a bicycle barricade across Olive Way just east of the Olive Way bridge over the Interstate-5 expressway, where Olive Way crosses into downtown Seattle. Moments after this photograph was taken, Seattle Police opened fire onto the large crowd of "Anarchist", mostly masked "Black Bloc" protesters, with sonic stun grenades and so called "blast ball" grenades.
In this photograph from May 1, 2015 in Seattle, captured during that year's May Day Anarchist / Block Bloc protest and street mayhem, a large crowd of mostly masked Black Bloc "anarchists" jeered at the Seattle Police as they marched through the streets of the Capitol Hill neighbordhood's western slope Pike Street and Pine Street corridors. Ironically, a number of the Black Bloc were in various states of "bandanna malfunction" with their faces exposed and their bandanna's down around their necks.

In this series of photographs from the May 1, 2015 rally held by various immigrant rights groups, a series of indigenous American people, men and woman, wore a traditional festival dancing costume. During the march and rally this group stopped and performed numerous times. This dance group is a mainstay at political rallies in Seattle regarding immigration politics.
