Seattle, Liberty or Death 2 Rally, December 1, 2018, Wider View of Antifa Counter Protesting in Locked Arms Sidewalk Barricade

In this photograph from the "Liberty or Death 2" rally against fake news and media bias, held on December 1, 2018 by the Washington Three Percent, these Marxist / Socialist / Communist / Antifa / Black Bloc counter protesters were across the street where this sub-group of the counter protesters formed a locked arms sidewalk barricade. Blockading a public sidewalk is a misdemeanour crime in Seattle, but the Seattle Police didn't show any interest in enforcing that section of the Seattle Municipal Code that day. Some of the counter protesters in the human sidewalk barricade wore masks. Some of the counter protesters in this photograph were dressed in all black and wore masks, which is known as "Black Bloc". With the counter protesters in the human barricade, was a "legal observer" from a group of attorneys called the "National Lawyer's Guild" who essentially participated in the human barricade with the counter protesters. This portion of these events occurred at the southwest corner of the Fourth Avenue and Cherry Street intersection in downtown Seattle, with the walls of the King County Superior Court courthouse just a few feet away.

Just outside of the frame to the right of this photograph was a photojournalist from Portland, Oregon named Andy Ngo, who was standing back from  the crowd of counter protesters taking still photographs. A little while before this photograph was taken, the Seattle Police had at first aided Andy Ngo in entering the crowd of counter protesters with his iPhone on a gimbal, to gather video. While Andy Ngo gathered video, a notorious, and frequently arrested, member of the local Seattle Antifa named Jamal Williams, who likes to call himself "Jamal X", made a veiled death threat toward and directly at Andy Ngo. In video captured by Andy Ngo (see embed below), Jamal Williams asked Andy Ngo, a Vietnamese American Gay man, "Do you want your monkey ass to be over here? Then stop moving motherfucker!". Later Jamal Williams says in the video:

Some of us didn't really come to talk, some of us come(sic) to die dude. Are you willing to die for youtube shit? Yeah, well that's what's going to come man. It's coming to you dude. Real shit. Do you feel that energy? That's why you heart's pounding. I'm here to let you know, judgment's here.

The preceding statements by Jamal Williams occur at 7:15 into the video, which can be viewed by jumping directly to that segment on youtube at the following link. Watch the complete video compilation created by Andy Ngo via the youtube video embed below. The video below also provides some insights into the charged atmosphere and the intensity of the anger and irrationality infused rage expressed by the Antifa and Black Bloc counter protesters at these events. Simply by making a video of the Antifa counter protesters, the counter protesters engaged is a psychopathology known as "Anger Displacement" in which the counter-protesters transfer their anger against what they believe they are protesting onto the Andy Ngo. In the minds of the counter protesters, they want to be seen protesting on the one hand, but they ironically view anyone who documents their counter protesting as "spying" for the "enemy". In fact, this was one of the accusations that Jamal Williams leveled directly at Andy Ngo in the video below.
